you finally sneak into the dragon’s cave and find his treasure chest. you open it and there is just a macaroni drawing by the dragon’s son.
“ITS TREASURE TO MEEEEE” the dragon bellows
VICTOR HUGO YOU CAN’T JUST KILL FIVE CHARACTERS IN ONE SENTENCE I AM NOT DOWN WITH THAT
Any one else notice how it’s “killed, killed, killed, killed, oh and then combeferre was run through with three goddamn stabs of a bayonet to the chest “ But you know every one else died too.
you’d think the Star Trek fandom would be a very intelligent and philosophical fandom but instead we all just sit here like
I wanted to see one of those goofy body-swap movies where the boy and girl switch bodies, and at first they’re like “We’re going to perform shenanigans,” but as the movie goes on they become more and more depressed because it’s really hard dealing with social roles and hormones that aren’t familiar or comfortable to them. And in the end the valuable lesson they learn is “Wow, we should stop being such assholes to trans people.”
Apparently some vegans are telling people not to eat honey to support bees.
STOP. STOP NOW.
DO YOU EVEN KNOW HOW BEES WORK?
Buy honey (local if possible) -> support beekeepers -> support bees.
I swear people don’t even think this stuff out.
Beekeepers provide bees with an environment in which they can live, and are encouraged to thrive. Bees then have a big huge giant person who can deal with any threats to the hive.
Yes, honey is a winter food supply for bees, but beekeepers (unless they’re dicks, in which case they’d be shooting themselves in the foot) will NEVER take too much honey from a hive, and will always ensure that bees have enough food. Think about it, you’re not going to starve a source of income/hobby, are you?
I think a few ppl took Bee Movie too seriously.
You can take as much honey from a hive as you like, as long as you supply the bees with another food source, this is usually a sugar syrup, which the bees like as much (if not more) than honey.
Okay, for the person that posted about sugar syrup.
Maybe you keep bees, and maybe it works for you.
But bees are healthier and stronger if sugar syrup is used only as a compliment to, not replacement for, their personal honey stores.
